Welcome to my A2 Media Blog, where I have Researched, Planned and Produced a regional magazine, along with ancillary's, including a webpage and billboard advertisement. My blog displays the progress I have made throughout my production, and allows you to see how my ideas developed over the project, with logs also used to display my thought process between tasks. All this aided in me completing my final products to the best of my ability.

Log 12
After thinking about my website design, I came to the decision that I would still use WiX to make my website, however, I will start from scratch instead of using a template. The reason for this decision is so that I can use my own ideas and transfer my thoughts straight into the design of the website, rather than being restricted by a template which was created by someone else, who do not know my brand's theme or target audience.

Brand Identity
Below is a link to a storyboard I created to demonstrate what makes my 'Brand Identity' unique and recognisable to my target audience:

Regulations
The laws/regulations below are the most relevant to my production, as they involve how the content in my products must be accurate, within the laws as well as not being offensive or having the potential to be misinterpreted in any way that may seem offensive. These involve ethical issues related to race, gender, age and other factors faced in the media (present day), where it is IPSO's responsibility to ensure newspapers and magazines publish content in consideration of the editors' code of practice and various other laws. Below is a timeline displaying what laws are relevant to my production (magazine, website and billboard), as well as when the editors' code of practice was created, and when the IPSO was established.
To summarise, my production will have to follow the laws to ensure the content is accurate and so the audience are as satisfied as possible with limited problems. They all relate to being morally respectful towards everyone involved when producing the products and material that will be used in them. Anything that is not acceptable will be brought to the attention of the IPSO, then result in a penalty.
